Musah after the derby: “Modric makes everything easier”

Yunus Musah spoke after Milan’s 3-1 derby victory over Inter. The Rossoneri midfielder offered strong praise for Luka Modric, one of Amorim’s team’s technical leaders. His comments came after a city derby that gave Milan three valuable points and left Inter facing another difficult evening.

Musah’s message was clear: “Modric makes everything easier.” The American midfielder highlighted the Croatian’s influence in controlling play and reading situations during the match. For Milan, the former Real Madrid player brings an important combination of quality and experience. For Inter, meanwhile, the derby once again exposed problems with their approach and their ability to maintain consistency throughout the game.

The defeat ended Inter’s positive run, following wins over Fiorentina and Venezia, 2-1 and 2-0 respectively. However, Chivu’s team has no time to dwell on the result: on Tuesday, November 3, at 9 p.m., Inter will face Feyenoord in Rotterdam in the fourth round of the Champions League. After the San Siro setback, the Nerazzurri must respond immediately in Europe.
