Amorim urges caution after derby: “Everything does not change immediately”
The Milan coach calls for caution after the 3-1 win over Inter: “There will be good and bad moments”
Ruben Amorim discussed Milan’s 3-1 derby victory over Inter during his press conference. After winning the city derby, the Rossoneri coach chose to remain cautious, rejecting the idea that one match can immediately change a team’s entire path.
“We have to be honest: there will be good moments and less good moments,” Amorim said. The coach then stressed that the work already started cannot produce instant transformations: “Everything does not change immediately.” His comments shift the focus back to the need for consistency, rather than only the emotional impact of the victory against the Nerazzurri.
For Inter, the 3-1 defeat at San Siro follows the wins over Fiorentina and Venezia listed among the latest official results. Chivu’s team must respond on Tuesday, November 3, at 21:00, against Feyenoord Rotterdam in the Champions League. The schedule then includes the home match against Como on Sunday, November 8, at 18:00, followed by the trip to Atalanta on November 22 at 20:45.
