Women’s Ballon d’Or, Wullaert finishes in 19th place
Former Inter Women forward Sennek Wullaert reaches the top 20 of the Women’s Ballon d’Or, finishing 19th in the final ranking.
Sennek Wullaert finished 19th in the Women’s Ballon d’Or ranking. The Belgian forward, who previously wore the Inter Women shirt, was therefore included among the best players recognised in the 2026 edition of the prestigious individual award.
The result puts the former Nerazzurra inside the top 20 of the standings. It is an important recognition for a player who was also part of Inter’s women’s journey, maintaining a connection with the Nerazzurri environment even though she is now judged mainly on the performances produced away from Milan. The ranking was announced during the Ballon d’Or ceremony.
For Inter, Wullaert’s recognition adds a noteworthy detail to the recent history of the women’s section. As for the men’s first team, the Nerazzurri come into this period after victories over Bologna, Shakhtar and Fiorentina on 17, 21 and 25 October respectively. Their next official fixture is scheduled for Wednesday 28 October at 18:30, away to Venezia.
