Venezia, Nicola looks back on Inter: “A different match from Como”

Alberto Nicola discussed Venezia’s performance, also focusing on the meeting with Inter. The coach stressed that the match against the Nerazzurri had different characteristics compared with the game played against Como, while still refusing to criticize his players’ display.

“It was a different match from Inter and Como, but the team performed well,” Nicola said at his press conference. His comments suggest that Venezia showed a positive attitude, despite facing an Inter side that won 2-0 on October 28. The result went the Nerazzurri’s way, but the opposing coach chose to highlight the response produced by his group.

For Inter, the victory in Venice was one of the latest official results before the 3-1 derby defeat against Milan on October 31. Chivu’s team then reacted in the Champions League, beating Feyenoord 3-0 on November 3. The next appointment is scheduled for Sunday, November 8, at 18:00, at San Siro against Como.
