Venezia-Inter ratings: Thuram decisive, Dimarco below par
The Frenchman makes his mark without scoring, while Stankovic fails to convince. Adams causes problems for Inter’s defence.
Inter’s 2-0 victory away to Venezia on Wednesday, October 28 produced contrasting individual assessments. Marcus Thuram once again emerged as one of the key players: he did not score, but his contribution remained decisive for the Nerazzurri’s attacking performance. On the other side, Filip Stankovic was handed a disappointing verdict after a display without any outstanding moments.
One of the least positive ratings went to Federico Dimarco, who looked well below his usual standards. His performance was judged insufficient in terms of impact and consistency. For Venezia, meanwhile, Che Adams was the main threat to Inter’s defence. The striker’s movement and physical presence created several difficulties for Cristian Chivu’s team, even though the final result comfortably went the visitors’ way.
The 2-0 win in Venice gives Inter a third consecutive victory after the 1-0 Champions League success against Shakhtar and the 2-1 Serie A result against Fiorentina. Their next appointment is the derby against Milan, scheduled for Saturday, October 31 at 20:45. The Nerazzurri will then visit Feyenoord in the Champions League on November 3 at 21:00.
