Varela, not just Inter and Napoli: Juventus also watching the midfielder
Midfielder Varela has entered Juventus’ radar, adding another Italian competitor for Inter and Napoli in the market.
The Italian market is widening around Varela. According to information published on October 24, the midfielder is being followed not only by Inter and Napoli: Juventus have also started monitoring his profile. Inter therefore face the addition of a direct rival in their assessment of a player who has already attracted attention ahead of the next transfer windows.
The report does not currently mention an official offer or an active negotiation. The concrete detail is the parallel interest from the three Italian clubs, with Juventus reportedly moving at an exploratory stage. Varela consequently becomes a name to watch closely, while Inter will have to assess the competition and set its priorities for midfield. No figures or timetable for a possible move have been disclosed.
The transfer subject comes during an intense period for Chivu’s team. After losing 4-3 to Club Brugge in the Champions League, Inter beat Bologna 3-1 in Serie A and defeated Shakhtar 1-0. Their next fixture is away to Venezia on Wednesday, October 28, at 18:30, followed by the derby against Milan on October 31 at 20:45.
