Vanoli challenges Fiorentina: “Against Inter, we need the perfect game”
On the eve of the San Siro clash, the Viola coach describes the match as a test with no room for mistakes for his team.
Paolo Vanoli has heightened the build-up to Inter-Fiorentina with a clear message: to take a positive result from the match against the Nerazzurri, his team will need a flawless performance. The Viola coach discussed it in an interview published on Friday, October 23, on the eve of the league fixture.
“Against Inter, we need the perfect game”: Vanoli’s words show his awareness of the opponent’s level and the difficulty of the challenge. Fiorentina are therefore preparing to face a team coming off two consecutive victories, although the Nerazzurri had previously suffered a European defeat. The coach has identified total concentration as the condition required to compete at San Siro, leaving no room for lapses in attention.
Inter’s match is scheduled for Sunday, October 25, at 12:30 and will be their next competitive fixture after the 1-0 Champions League victory over Shakhtar on October 21. Before that, the Nerazzurri had beaten Bologna 3-1 in Serie A. Chivu’s team will then return to action on Wednesday, October 28, at 18:30 against Venezia.
