Serie A, Inter win in Venice as Milan and Juventus stumble

Inter beat Venezia 2-0 at the Penzo and ended Wednesday’s Serie A round on another winning note on 28 October 2026. Napoli also claimed victory on the same day, while Milan and Juventus suffered defeats. Parma-Udinese, meanwhile, finished goalless at 0-0.

The Nerazzurri result comes during a very positive spell for Cristian Chivu’s side, who collected three more points after their comeback win against Fiorentina. The round therefore offers Inter a favourable picture: with the exception of Napoli, the main rivals in the race for the top failed to add points. The draw gives Parma and Udinese only a partial boost in the standings.

The win in Venice allows Inter to remain top and sets up the most anticipated fixture in the best possible way: the derby against Milan will be played on Saturday 31 October at 20:45, with the Rossoneri among the teams beaten in this round. Before Venezia, the Nerazzurri had defeated Fiorentina 2-1 on 25 October and Shakhtar 1-0 in the Champions League on 21 October.
