Serie A, Inter level with Lazio at the top after the latest round
The Nerazzurri and Biancocelesti share first place. Roma come from behind in Naples, while Milan win in Udine.
The top of Serie A has tightened up: after the round played on October 25, Inter and Lazio sit level at the summit. The Nerazzurri maintained their positive run by beating Fiorentina at San Siro, while the other results from the weekend produced important consequences in the battle for the leading positions.
Roma overturned the match away to Napoli, making the Partenopei’s route more difficult. Milan also collected an away victory, taking all three points from their trip to Udine. These results keep the fight near the top wide open and increase the importance of every fixture for the teams chasing first place.
For Inter, this is a third consecutive official win: the 3-1 victory at Bologna on October 17, the 1-0 Champions League success against Shakhtar on October 21 and the 2-1 win over Fiorentina on October 25. The next appointment is away to Venezia on Wednesday, October 28, at 18:30, followed by the derby against Milan on October 31 at 20:45.
