Sassarini motivates Inter Women: “Against Lyon, I want to surprise”

Davide Sassarini presented Inter Women’s clash with OL Lyonnes, a European appointment that places the Nerazzurre against an opponent of outstanding stature. The coach accompanied his analysis of the match with a clear message: his team will need personality and must be ready to compete without fear.

According to Sassarini, facing the French side creates positive sensations and represents an opportunity to approach with enthusiasm. The coach did not speak only about tactical focus or managing the different phases of the game. His main request was to see a group eager to make its mark. The aim is to take on the test with the ambition of surprising, without being influenced by the opponent’s reputation.

The meeting with OL Lyonnes adds a high-level international challenge to Inter Women’s journey. Meanwhile, the men’s first team comes into this period after three consecutive official victories: 3-1 at Bologna, 1-0 against Shakhtar and 2-1 against Fiorentina. Today, at 18:30, it faces an away match at Venezia in Serie A.
