Roma consider Lorenzo Pirola for January: former Inter player in focus

Roma are assessing Lorenzo Pirola ahead of the January transfer window. The defender, who came through Inter’s youth academy, has emerged among the profiles being considered by the Giallorossi club to strengthen their squad during the winter market. The track is still at an evaluation stage, but the former Nerazzurri player’s name has been included among the possible opportunities.

At present, there are no details regarding an official offer, the structure of a potential deal or a set transfer fee. According to the report, Roma are studying the centre-back’s profile and could examine the situation more closely in the coming weeks, when the January market begins to take shape. For Pirola, this represents a new link with an important Serie A club.

The news also indirectly concerns Inter because of the player’s development in the Nerazzurri academy. Chivu’s team head into the Venezia match after victories over Bologna, Shakhtar and Fiorentina. The schedule then brings the derby against Milan on Saturday 31 October at 20:45, followed by the Champions League trip to Feyenoord on Tuesday 3 November at 21:00.
