Pulisic on renewal and derby: “We want to beat Inter”
The Milan forward discusses his future and looks ahead to the derby, sending a clear message before the clash with Inter.
Christian Pulisic put the derby at the heart of his latest comments. The Milan forward, speaking to SportMediaset, discussed both a possible contract renewal and the match against Inter, scheduled for Saturday, October 31 at 20:45. The city derby is therefore also being introduced through one of the Rossoneri side’s most anticipated players.
Regarding the meeting with Inter, Pulisic made Milan’s objective clear: “We want to win.” It was a brief statement, but enough to describe the atmosphere before the match and his team’s ambition. The subject of a contract extension was also part of the interview, although the American’s words did not reveal any final decision about his future.
For Inter, the derby is the next fixture after three consecutive victories: on October 21, the Nerazzurri defeated Shakhtar 1-0 in the Champions League, then beat Fiorentina 2-1 and Venezia 2-0. After the Milan match, the team will face Feyenoord on Tuesday, November 3 at 21:00, in the fourth Champions League round.
