Nicola looks to Como after Inter: “Strong motivation remains”

Venezia are leaving behind the 2-0 defeat suffered against Inter and immediately turning their attention to the next fixture against Como. Ahead of the match, coach Paolo Vanoli Nicola described the appointment as “intriguing”, stressing the need to keep the team’s drive high after facing the Nerazzurri.

The coach explained that the match against Inter has not diminished Venezia’s motivation. Instead, the squad must turn the experience gained in its latest outing into energy for the new challenge. “Strong motivation remains after Inter” was Nicola’s central message, as he therefore views the meeting with Como as an opportunity to react and confirm the competitiveness of the Veneto side.

For Inter, the reference to Como offers an initial look at the next league fixture: the Nerazzurri will face the Lombardy team on Sunday, November 8, at 18:00. Before then, Chivu’s side will play the derby against Milan on Saturday, October 31, at 20:45, followed by the Champions League trip to Feyenoord on Tuesday, November 3, at 21:00. The 2-0 win in Venice is Inter’s latest Serie A result.
