Inter are preparing for their clash with Shakhtar after the 4-3 defeat against Club Brugge and recent league wins over Parma and Bologna. In attack, however, the main focus is on Marcus Thuram.
Without Lautaro, the Frenchman will have to increase his offensive contribution. Thuram has not yet scored in the Champions League, and Wednesday’s match could give him the chance to end that drought and provide Inter with a decisive weapon in Europe.
