Inter U23-Sorrento 1-1: Zuberek completes the Nerazzurri comeback
Starita puts Sorrento ahead, but Zuberek restores parity as Vecchi’s Inter U23 earn a point.
Inter U23 drew 1-1 with Sorrento today, Saturday 24 October 2026. The Nerazzurri avoided defeat thanks to Zuberek’s goal, which levelled the match after the visitors had taken the lead through Starita.
The result rewards the reaction from Stefano Vecchi’s team, who responded after falling behind. Zuberek’s strike handed Inter U23 a valuable draw in a game where Sorrento had managed to move in front. The scoreline remained unchanged after the equaliser, with no further goals added to the final tally.
The point adds to the second Nerazzurri team’s campaign, while the club’s attention now also turns to the first team’s next fixture. On Sunday 25 October 2026 at 12:30, Inter will face Fiorentina in Serie A. The Nerazzurri enter the match after beating Bologna 3-1 and defeating Shakhtar 1-0 in the Champions League, following a 4-3 home defeat to Club Brugge.
