Inter plan two renewals: Calhanoglu and Carlos Augusto in focus

Inter are looking ahead and have placed two important renewals on their agenda. The Nerazzurri are assessing the contractual situations of Hakan Calhanoglu and Carlos Augusto, aiming to strengthen two key pieces of the first-team project. The Turkish midfielder remains a reference point in the build-up, while the Brazilian offers a valuable option on the flank and in the defensive line.

The latest development is the club’s intention to handle the two cases within the same planning framework. Calhanoglu’s extension has already been discussed in recent weeks; Carlos Augusto now joins that list of internal market priorities. At present, no details have been provided regarding the length of possible new deals or the financial terms, but both players are part of the club’s renewal strategy.

Inter come into this phase after a 3-0 Champions League win away to Feyenoord, following a 3-1 derby defeat against Milan and an earlier 2-0 victory at Venezia. Their next fixture is on Sunday, November 8, at 18:00, when Como visit San Siro in Serie A.
