Inter look to the Premier League: an Italian player on the radar
The Nerazzurri are assessing the English market ahead of January, with an Italian player among the profiles being monitored.
Inter are beginning to look beyond the autumn and are directing part of their planning towards the Premier League. Ahead of the January transfer window, the Nerazzurri are reportedly monitoring several profiles from the English championship, with an Italian player attracting particular attention. For now, neither the player’s name nor a concrete offer has emerged.
The lead comes from scouting activity across Europe’s five major leagues and forms part of Inter’s considerations for the winter market. The report does not indicate that negotiations have already started: it refers to interest and initial assessments. The player’s position, cost and possible deal formula therefore remain unclear, all factors that could prove important in the coming months.
The Premier League dossier does not immediately alter Cristian Chivu’s team priorities. Inter enter the next fixture after beating Bologna 3-1, Shakhtar 1-0 in the Champions League and Fiorentina 2-1. Tomorrow, Wednesday 28 October, at 18:30, the Nerazzurri will visit Venezia, before the derby on 31 October and the European trip to Feyenoord on 3 November.
