Inter’s injury list could become shorter ahead of the derby. According to Sportmediaset, Jones and Benjamin Pavard are working with the aim of returning earlier than expected and putting themselves forward for the match against Milan, scheduled for Saturday, October 31 at 20:45.
The conditions of both players are being assessed day by day. There has not yet been definitive confirmation regarding their availability, but the indications point to the possibility of an earlier recovery than initially anticipated. For Cristian Chivu, this would be an important boost, particularly given the tight schedule and the need to manage the squad’s energy levels.
Before the derby, Inter will face Fiorentina today at 12:30 and Venezia on Wednesday, October 28 at 18:30. In the Champions League, the Nerazzurri are coming off a 1-0 win over Shakhtar, following the previous 4-3 home defeat against Club Brugge.
