Inter eye Finn Jeltsch as Barcelona join race for German talent

Inter are broadening their market plans and are monitoring Finn Jeltsch, a young German defender who has also attracted Barcelona’s attention. The Catalan club’s presence could make any potential deal more complicated, while the Nerazzurri continue to assess the profile carefully. The interest was reported today, Wednesday 28 October 2026, as part of the club’s planning for the future of the squad.

Jeltsch is therefore added to the list of players being followed by Inter’s sporting department. The key figure in the operation is the valuation attached to the player, which is reported to reach €40 million. At present, there are no details of an official offer or an advanced negotiation; the confirmed point is Inter’s entry into the race alongside Barcelona for the German talent.

The transfer story arrives on a busy day for Cristian Chivu’s team. After beating Bologna 3-1 on 17 October, Inter defeated Shakhtar 1-0 in the Champions League on 21 October and overcame Fiorentina 2-1 on 25 October. Today at 18:30, they face Venezia at the Penzo, before the derby against Milan on 31 October at 20:45.
