Cristian Chivu has clarified Inter’s goalkeeping hierarchy: Josep Martinez remains the first-choice goalkeeper. It is an important confirmation for the Spaniard, who produced a decisive performance in the Champions League win over Shakhtar.
However, the Nerazzurri coach has left the door open for Ivan Provedel, explaining that the former Lazio goalkeeper will also have his opportunities. The internal competition therefore remains open, with Martinez ahead but rotations not ruled out during the season.
