Giraldez after OL Lyonnes’ 6-0 win over Inter Women: “Satisfied”

OL Lyonnes can look back on their meeting with Inter Women with satisfaction. After the emphatic 6-0 victory, coach Giraldez assessed his team’s performance, focusing particularly on the development of the two halves and the response provided by his players.

The coach did not hide some concerns about the opening phase: “We were not at our best in the first half.” Despite that drop in quality, his overall assessment remained positive. The team found a way to impose its authority and finish the match with a wide margin, confirming its attacking efficiency. For Giraldez, the final balance of the evening was therefore a positive one.

For Inter Women, the result represents a heavy setback in their European campaign, already addressed through coach Sassarini’s comments and the 6-0 defeat suffered against OL Lyonnes. On the men’s side, meanwhile, Inter’s next official fixture is the derby against AC Milan on Saturday 31 October at 20:45 in Serie A.
