Generali Stadium: Inter and Milan have already invested €46.5 million
The first expenses covered by the two clubs for the Generali Stadium project have reached a significant figure.
The Generali Stadium project has now entered its financial phase. Inter and Milan have already covered the first expenses connected with the initiative, reaching a total of €46.5 million. The figure reflects the two clubs’ initial commitment to the operation, which is also expected to have an impact on the future of their respective women’s sections.
The amount includes the outlays made so far by both clubs. Referring to the project’s first activities, the total represents a concrete step after the preparatory phase. The sum is not attributed to only one ownership group: Inter and Milan are sharing the investment while working together on the development of the new facility. The Generali Stadium has therefore moved into an operational phase rather than remaining solely a project on paper.
For Inter, the stadium issue comes during an intense period on the pitch as well. The first team defeated Venezia 2-0 and Feyenoord 3-0, while the derby against Milan on October 31 ended 3-1 to the Rossoneri. The next fixture is on Sunday, November 8, at 18:00, at San Siro against Como.
