Fiorentina squad named: Ranieri out, Primavera youngster included
Paolo Vanoli has announced his squad for the Inter match: Ranieri is still unavailable, while one Primavera player has been called up.
Paolo Vanoli has finalized Fiorentina’s squad for the away match against Inter, scheduled for Sunday, October 25 at 12:30 in the eighth round of Serie A. Luca Ranieri is once again among the absentees and will therefore not be available to the Viola coach for the meeting with the Nerazzurri.
The main new entry in the list comes from the youth setup: Vanoli has included a Primavera player, adding another option for the match. The call-up represents an opportunity for the young Fiorentina player, who will join the first-team group for a high-level fixture. The most significant point otherwise remains the confirmation of Ranieri’s unavailability.
Inter approach the game after two consecutive victories: a 3-1 league win at Bologna and a 1-0 Champions League success against Shakhtar. Before the European victory, the Nerazzurri had lost 4-3 to Club Brugge. The Fiorentina match comes before the trip to Venezia, scheduled for Wednesday, October 28 at 18:30.
