Dimarco-Barcelona, Inter close the door: Deco changes target

Federico Dimarco is moving further away from Barcelona. The Nerazzurri wing-back had emerged among the profiles considered by the Catalan club, but Inter’s stance is making the deal increasingly difficult. The Milanese club does not view the player as expendable and intends to protect him from interest abroad.

The work of Inter’s management has led to a clear consequence: Deco, Barcelona’s sporting director, has reportedly changed his priorities and is now considering another target for the flank. No figures or official offers have emerged, but Inter’s message appears firm: Dimarco remains central to the project, while Barcelona is not currently a concrete destination for him.

The situation comes during an intense period for Cristian Chivu’s team. After beating Venezia 2-0 away, Inter lost the derby 3-1 to Milan before responding with a 3-0 victory over Feyenoord in the Champions League. The next appointment is on Sunday, November 8, at 18:00, when Inter host Como at San Siro.
