Cruz warns Inter: “They must win in Rotterdam, De Kuip matters”

Julio Cruz has offered his view ahead of Inter’s visit to Feyenoord, sending a clear message before the fourth matchday of the Champions League. The game will be played in Rotterdam on Tuesday, November 3, at 9 p.m., and the former Argentine striker believes the Nerazzurri must target victory. He also singled out Stadion Feijenoord, better known as De Kuip, as a factor that deserves particular attention.

Cruz expects Cristian Chivu’s team to collect “a mountain of points” during the season, but that expectation makes settling for less in Europe impossible. His assessment is based on Inter’s overall potential, while the atmosphere inside the Dutch stadium could make the match especially demanding. The former striker’s request is therefore straightforward: Inter need personality and three points, rather than simply trying to control the game.

Inter go into the match after beating Fiorentina 2-1 and winning 2-0 at Venezia, but also after the 3-1 derby defeat to Milan on October 31.
