Como were in Serie B two years ago: now they face Inter

The Como that will face Inter on Sunday is a very different club from the one seen just two years ago. Sky Sport has highlighted the Lombardy side’s transformation, with the club moving in a short time from Serie B to a level where it can compete with Italian football’s biggest teams. That journey makes the meeting with the Nerazzurri even more significant.

Como’s growth is not limited to their division. The club have built an ambitious, competitive squad around a clear technical project and players with international experience. Their progress in such a short period is the key element of this match: Inter will face an opponent whose status and expectations have changed considerably compared with the recent past.

The game is scheduled for Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Inter come off a 2-0 win over Venezia, a 3-1 derby defeat against Milan and a convincing 3-0 Champions League victory away to Feyenoord. After Como, the calendar brings a trip to Atalanta on November 22 at 8:45 p.m.
