Cristian Chivu discussed Inter’s situation in the Champions League league phase ahead of the meeting with Feyenoord. Before the trip to Rotterdam, the Nerazzurri coach clearly outlined the target required to remain among the teams that will qualify directly for the round of 16.

According to Chivu, the expected threshold is 16 points. Inter have collected only 3 so far and therefore need to raise their level during the European campaign. “The top eight will require 16 points; for now, we only have 3,” the coach explained, highlighting the gap that still separates his team from its objective. The match against Feyenoord is another opportunity to improve Inter’s position in the standings.

The game comes after a mixed spell in Serie A: Inter defeated Fiorentina 2-1 on October 25 and Venezia 2-0 on October 28, before losing 3-1 to Milan on October 31. Feyenoord-Inter is scheduled for today, Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 21:00. After Rotterdam, the Nerazzurri will host Como at San Siro on Sunday, November 8, at 18:00.
