Chivu puts the derby aside and backs Inter: “A great game against Feyenoord”
Ahead of the Champions League trip, the Nerazzurri coach turns the page after the derby defeat and focuses on Feyenoord.
The derby defeat to Milan is already in the past for Cristian Chivu. On the eve of Inter’s Champions League match against Feyenoord, scheduled for Tuesday, November 3 at 21:00 in Rotterdam, the coach has shifted the team’s attention to the next European challenge. The message is clear: Inter must react immediately on the pitch.
Chivu spoke confidently about the fixture, promising that the Nerazzurri are ready to produce a high-level performance: “We will play a great game against Feyenoord.” His words come after Inter’s 3-1 loss to Milan on October 31. Before the derby, the team had beaten Fiorentina 2-1 on October 25 and Venezia 2-0 on October 28.
The trip to the Netherlands therefore gives Inter an immediate opportunity to respond after the derby setback. The schedule leaves no room for a pause: after Feyenoord, the Nerazzurri will return to action on Sunday, November 8 at 18:00 at San Siro against Como 1907, in Serie A matchday 11.
