Chivu dreams of Inter’s new home: “Hard to resist coaching there”
The Inter coach is enthusiastic about the new stadium shared with Milan and makes no secret of wanting to experience it as a manager.
Inter and Milan’s new stadium is more than a project for the future of the two clubs: Cristian Chivu is also following it with particular interest. The Nerazzurri coach discussed the possibility of coaching in the new home, showing all the appeal of the venue that will replace the current San Siro.
Chivu’s message was clear: “It would be hard to resist coaching there.” It was a quip, but also a precise indication of the attraction the new stadium holds for someone who works in football every day. For the coach, leading Inter in a modern facility designed for the future would be a difficult opportunity to turn down.
For now, however, Inter’s attention remains on the pitch. The Nerazzurri head into the derby after victories over Shakhtar, Fiorentina and Venezia, by 1-0, 2-1 and 2-0 respectively. The next match is scheduled for Saturday 31 October at 20:45: Milan-Inter, the tenth Serie A round, will be played at San Siro.
