Chiesa-Inter, Liverpool set the price: €15 million needed in January
The English club has reportedly set the fee for Federico Chiesa’s January departure, while Inter continue to monitor the situation.
Federico Chiesa is back at the centre of Inter’s evaluations ahead of the winter transfer window. According to SetteCalcio, Liverpool have reportedly indicated a fee of €15 million to allow the forward to leave in January. The Italian winger has already been linked with the Nerazzurri, but a first financial reference for a possible deal has now emerged.
The English club’s request is only the starting point of the discussion, as no agreement or advanced negotiations have been reported. Inter are therefore continuing to monitor developments, considering a player with extensive experience in Italian and international football. Liverpool’s valuation will be one of the elements to assess when shaping the club’s plans for the January transfer market.
Inter head into the derby after three consecutive victories: a 1-0 Champions League win over Shakhtar, a 2-1 victory against Fiorentina and a 2-0 success at Venezia in Serie A. The match against Milan is scheduled for Saturday 31 October at 20:45. Inter will then face Feyenoord on 3 November at 21:00, before hosting Como on 8 November at 18:00.
