Cardinale stays in Italy: Krösche and Amorim, then the Inter derby
The Milan owner will remain in Italy until the derby against Inter on October 31.
Gerry Cardinale will stay in Italy until the Milan-Inter derby on October 31. The Rossoneri owner’s stay is not connected only to the city derby: strategic assessments for the club’s future are also on the agenda, with Markus Krösche among the profiles being monitored for the sporting area and Ruben Amorim being followed closely as a possible coaching option.
Cardinale’s visit therefore carries greater weight than a simple presence at San Siro. Eintracht Frankfurt executive Krösche and Portuguese coach Amorim are two figures Milan are watching for the future, while the derby could provide another reference point regarding the team’s performances. The matter directly concerns the Rossoneri, but it also involves Inter because of the October 31 fixture.
Before the derby, the Nerazzurri face two Serie A matches: Fiorentina at San Siro on Sunday, October 25 at 12:30, and Venezia away on Wednesday, October 28 at 18:30. Inter come from a 1-0 win over Shakhtar on October 21, following the 3-1 victory at Bologna on October 17.
