Capello points the way for Inter: “They must dominate from the start”

Fabio Capello identified a clear priority for Inter during his appearance on Sky Sport: the team must take control of matches from the very first minute. The former coach’s reflection comes after the Nerazzurri’s Champions League success, a 3-0 victory over Feyenoord on November 3, 2026.

“Inter must dominate matches from the start,” was Capello’s message. It was a reminder of the attitude expected from Cristian Chivu’s side, particularly in Europe, where intensity, personality and control of key moments are essential. The victory in Rotterdam provided an important response after the derby defeat against Milan, but according to the former coach, Inter must turn that authority into a constant feature from the opening stages of every match.

The 3-0 win over Feyenoord is Inter’s second consecutive official victory after the 2-0 success away to Venezia, although it came between the 3-1 derby loss on October 31 and the next league fixture. Inter will return to action on Sunday, November 8, at 18:00 against Como at San Siro, in Serie A matchday 11.
