Calhanoglu wants to stay at Inter: Como and Juventus monitoring the Turk
The Nerazzurri midfielder is not pushing for a move, but Sky Sport reports interest from Como and Juventus.
Hakan Calhanoglu does not appear to be looking to leave Inter. According to Sky Sport, the Turkish midfielder has expressed a desire to continue his Nerazzurri career, despite concrete interest from Como and Juventus. His name therefore remains at the centre of the Italian transfer market’s considerations.
The player’s position is an important factor in assessing the team’s future, particularly because his contract and any financial demands could affect the club’s plans. On one side there are two clubs interested in Calhanoglu, while on the other stands the player’s wish to keep wearing the Inter shirt. The situation remains open, but there is no indication of a direct push towards a separation.
The issue comes during an intense week for the Nerazzurri. Inter are due to face Feyenoord away in the Champions League tonight, Tuesday 3 November, with kick-off at 21:00 at De Kuip. On Sunday 8 November at 18:00, Como will visit San Siro. The Lombardy club’s possible interest therefore adds another element to both the transfer story and the following league meeting.
