Bisseck: “I had not planned a celebration. Criticism does not matter”
After Inter’s 3-0 win over Feyenoord, the defender spoke to Sky about his celebration and the importance of ignoring outside opinions.
Yann Bisseck spoke to Sky after Inter’s victory away to Feyenoord. The Nerazzurri completed their Champions League trip with a convincing 3-0 win, while the German defender was among the players to attract attention during the match. After the final whistle, his celebration also became a talking point.
Bisseck explained that he had not prepared any particular gesture before the game: “I had not thought about a celebration.” The centre-back also played down the importance of comments coming from outside the team, stressing that the squad must not be influenced by other people’s judgments. “What people say is not important to us,” was the message delivered by the player during his interview with the satellite broadcaster.
The 3-0 in Rotterdam allowed Inter to respond after the 3-1 derby defeat against Milan on October 31, following the earlier 2-0 victory over Venezia on October 28. The Nerazzurri’s next fixture will be in Serie A: Como will visit San Siro on Sunday, November 8, with kick-off scheduled for 6 p.m.
