Amorim not impressed by Milan: “Better against Ferencvaros than Inter”
The Rossoneri coach looks back on the 3-1 derby win and admits he was not satisfied with Milan’s performance against Inter.
Milan beat Inter 3-1 on October 31, but Ruben Amorim does not consider the derby performance up to expectations. The Rossoneri coach has reopened the discussion around the match, questioning his team’s display despite the positive result.
In his assessment with the players, Amorim stressed that he had seen greater involvement and quality in another game: “More against Ferencvaros than against Inter.” The judgment was clear and came with an equally direct admission: “I am not satisfied.” For the coach, therefore, the derby victory does not erase the doubts raised by the performance.
The October 31 defeat was a setback for Inter, but the Nerazzurri responded immediately in the Champions League, winning 3-0 away at Feyenoord on November 3. Inter’s next fixture is on Sunday, November 8, at 18:00, against Como at San Siro, in Serie A matchday 11: another chance to build on the European response and finally put the derby setback behind them.
