Manuel Akanji commented on Inter’s 1-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk at San Siro. The defender highlighted the importance of a collective performance in a far from simple match.
Asked about the problems shown by the defensive unit, Akanji chose to underline the team’s compactness. The three Champions League points arrive after the 4-3 defeat to Club Brugge and lift Inter’s confidence ahead of Sunday’s Serie A match against Fiorentina, scheduled for 12:30 on 25 October.
